HOT PLATE X THURSDAY DATING

Dating is better with good food. This time, Hot Plate comes to Pizza East for an evening of proper pizza, pasta, and people worth meeting — hosted in our basement bar, where the playlist is good and the conversation flows.

Expect a relaxed dinner format with 30–50 guests, a menu built for sharing stories over, and zero awkward silences.

Your £30 ticket includes a main meal and an arrival drink. Everything else — more wine, another slice, a cheeky dessert — is yours to order on the night.

SUNDAY SPINS X HOT PLATE RESIDENCY

Sunday Spins was a dining series built around music, movement, and shared tables.

From 2-4pm, the crowd settled in for bottomless pizza while DJs soundtracked the afternoon live from the kitchen as part of Cooking on Decks, a Sonderhaus series where food prep became performance. No separation between music and meal – just a room alive with sound and flavour.

STUDIO SESSIONS X HOT PLATE RESIDENCY

From talks and screenings to listening sessions and late-night conversations, Hot Plate turned the basement into a place for ideas, culture, and connection — evolving with the seasons and the city around it.

We created clay charms, turned tea towels into artwork, and learned new crafts like cyanotypes. Keep an eye out for future Studio Sessions x Hot Plate events, and join us for Hot Plate x Thursday Dating in the meantime…
